My (not so) little haul today!
Got some Burts Bees chap stick, makes a difference from the Lypsyl one that is the only one I have EVER used.
Some Benefit Erase Paste. I was reading some reviews about concealer and this seemed to be the best thing for under eye circles. The lady tried it out for me in Boots and said I was number 2 - Medium… which I wasn’t sure about because I thought I was mega pale, but I trust their judgement much better than mine. It feels a bit sticky, but I’ll try with some powder over the top tomorrow and see… I really wanted a concealer in a pot that I could dab with my finger and not a stick or liquid.
Some Organix Brazilian Keratin Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner. Saw this recommended by this lady on YouTube so thought I’d try it. It was on offer in Boots two Organix products for £8 I think. http://www.youtube.com/user/michele121
Aaaaaand I spent a fortune on Clinique stuff, I only really went for some moisturiser, because I used the Dramatically Different lotion before when I had a free sample and it was so good I kept buying the samples off eBay. So I asked whether lotion or gel would be better and I went for the lotion again as I seem to have really combination skin, oily in the t-zone and dry cheeks. I then thought screw it and tried some of the exfoliating scrub in the back of my hand and it felt wicked, actually like it would exfoliate and rub some of that dead stuff off. So I went to the counter with those and she said if I got a third item I could get £7.50 worth of points on my Boots card! I couldn’t resist cause I always always use my Boots card so I went back and chose the Take the Day Off makeup remover, as I was umming and ahhing and she recommended that one. But althought I spent… far more than I should have, she did throw me in some little free travel size samples to try! And she didn’t pick any, she gave me ones she really thought would help me particularly so that was dead nice. They were the liquid facial soap, and the clarifying lotion, both of which I was eyeing up anyway. She said the clarifying lotion is a good everyday alternative to the scrub because it lightly exfoliates too. Finally she also gave me a mini high lengths mascara.
Also received some Dermalogica samples to try from eBay too!
Have you tried any of these things?
